Why LAMISEC?
A simple solution that saves time and money
Nearly invisible
Transparent coating that dries to a thin translucent film. It doesn't change the appearance of protected surfaces.
Peel off in one piece
When work is done, simply grab the edge and peel. No glue, no residue, no cleanup.
Surface like new
Windows, tiles and glass stay perfectly clean. No scratches, no dust, no paint.
Reliable protection
Protects against dust, mortar, paint, and mechanical damage throughout construction.
Eco-friendly
Water-based with no organic solvents and low VOC content. Odorless and safe for enclosed spaces and homes with children.
Non-flammable
Non-flammable formula for safe use on every construction site. Meets fire safety standards.
Where to use LAMISEC?
Protect every non-absorbent surface during construction and renovation

Windows and frames
Protect windows from mortar, paint, and dust during construction or renovation. The most common use of LAMISEC.

Easy peel-off
When finished, simply grab the edge and peel the film off in one piece. The surface is perfectly clean.

Tiles and flooring
Protect newly laid tiles in bathrooms or kitchens from getting dirty during further construction work.

For pros and DIYers
Easy application with a roller. Water-based, odorless — safe to work with indoors and outdoors.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about LAMISEC
LAMISEC is designed for non-absorbent surfaces — windows, glass, tiles, ceramics, window frames, and other smooth materials. It's not suitable for porous surfaces like concrete or plaster because it wouldn't peel off cleanly.
At around 20 °C it dries in approximately 30 minutes. Drying may take longer at lower temperatures. Wait until the film is completely dry to the touch before further work.
Yes — when applied correctly (an even layer applied with a roller) the film peels off in one continuous piece. The key is to apply a thick enough layer — thin films are harder to peel.
1 kg of LAMISEC covers approximately 10–12 m² in a single layer. Coverage depends on surface smoothness and layer thickness. Use our calculator for a precise estimate.
Yes. LAMISEC is water-based, solvent-free, odorless, and non-flammable. It's safe to use in bathrooms, apartments, and offices without ventilation or PPE.
The cleanest and fastest option is LAMISEC liquid protective film. Roll it straight onto the glass and window frames — throughout construction it shields against mortar, silicone, PUR foam, and paint. When the work is done, peel it off in one piece with no adhesive residue and no risk of micro-scratches from mechanical cleaning.
LAMISEC liquid protective film applies faster than tape with PE sheeting and leaves no adhesive residue after removal. Masking tape is better suited for narrow edges and fine details. For full panes, tiles, or flooring, a liquid film tends to be more efficient both time-wise and cost-wise.
Average consumption is 85–100 g/m² in one layer. 1 kg covers 10–12 m², 5 kg covers 50–60 m², 20 kg covers 200–240 m². For textured surfaces apply 2 coats.
Simply lift the edge of the film with a fingernail or spatula and pull it off in one piece. No chemicals, no scraping. Glass stays perfectly clean without adhesive residue.
No. LAMISEC is applied exclusively with a roller or brush. Its thicker consistency is not suited for spray guns, and a roller gives a more consistent layer thickness, which is key for clean peel-off.
Per the manufacturer, LAMISEC can stay on protected indoor surfaces for up to 2 years without losing functionality — perfect for entire construction projects or longer renovations. For outdoor use, shorter intervals are recommended due to UV and rain exposure.
Yes. LAMISEC adheres well to PVC (plastic) and aluminum window frames (both anodized and powder-coated). It protects against mortar, silicone, PUR foam, and paint — and peels off in one piece without damaging the finish.
An average 1.2 × 1.5 m window (about 2 m²) needs 170–200 g of LAMISEC — that's €2–2.40 per window with a 1 kg pack or €1.60–2 with a 5 kg pack. Cheaper than tape + film combined.
LAMISEC is water-based, so the main risk outdoors is heavy rain — under prolonged rainfall the layer can soften or wash off, especially if it hasn't fully cured or was applied too thin. It works well for short-term outdoor use in rain-sheltered spots (covered glazing, balconies). Prolonged UV exposure can also harden the film and make removal more difficult.
No. LAMISEC is a peelable coating — after removal there's no glue, residue, or staining. The protected surface stays perfectly clean, identical to its pre-application state.
Apply between 5–30 °C. Below 5 °C drying slows significantly and the layer may crack. For winter jobsites, store the product at room temperature and apply during warmer periods.
Yes. LAMISEC is water-based, free of organic solvents, and has low VOC (volatile organic compound) content. It contains no toxic substances, has no strong odor, and is safe to apply indoors — even in homes with children or pets. Peeled-off film can be discarded as regular household waste.
